BlackArch Essentials is a comprehensive security auditing environment for intensive vulnerability testing which enables cybersecurity specialists to build on their own terms. BlackArch Essentials is a powerful OS recommended for power users and ethical hacking. An intuitive User Interface (UI) optimizes access to nearly 3,000 tools, and packages are delivered Out of the Box (OotB).
BlackArch Essentials’ monolithic kernel and compatibility with multiple processors works on top of your existing hardware. BlackArch Essentials uses a proprietary package manager and maintains the latest stable editions of each cybersecurity tool available.
BlackArch Essentials delivers more hacking tools for Penetration Pesting (PenTesting), risk assessment, and digital forensics than other popular security-focused linux distributions. It utilizes the Pacman package manager from ArchLinux for installation, updates, and removals.
Ethical hacking tools for password cracking and data recovery include John the Ripper and Hashcat. Wireshark exposes network traffic vulnerabilities and reveals what systems are active. Users preferring to use the Command Line Interface (CLI) for Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attacks can use Aircrack-ng. NMAP with the ZenMap Graphical User Interface (GUI) enables PenTesters to find open ports and issue commands, to check network vulnerabilities. Other tools analyze source code, exploit Bluetooth, prevent forensic analysis, enable Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, hack biometrics, prevent malware, detect rootkit access, and much more.
Two versions are available for download: the full ISO that contains all 2,800+ packages preinstalled, or the lightweight Slim ISO that includes only the most popular software. Virtualization of the distro can be enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings to deploy official BlackArch images through the Virtual Machine (VM) technology of VirtualBox, VMWare, and Qemu.
Users can personalize their workstations with multiple desktop manager apps that includes Xfce, Fluxbox, Openbox, i3wm, Spectrwm, and Awesomewm.
Ntegral certified images are always up-to-date, secure, and built to work right out of the box.
Ntegral packages applications following industry standards, and continuously monitors all components and libraries for vulnerabilities and application updates.
